Circumstances can be tough over the winter months, especially if you have nowhere to call home, this is why we at Keystone Fire Safety have partnered with HopeWorks in an attempt to tackle homelessness and help support our local community.

HopeWorks are a charity that pride themselves on being distinctly client driven, they enact a strong belief into the foundations of their project that the people matter more than the circumstances. This unique approach on support can be see through their outreach program, where practical help including food, clothing and hygiene take priority over arduous forms and countless identification processes that can make vulnerable people feel even more unsettled and uneasy. This element of trust is what allows for an important catalyst for change and installs a belief in people that things can, and will, get better.

Their outreach program is directly supported alongside a crucial pathway programs, these pathway courses are aimed at building self-worth, self-belief and giving people skills for life through supplying those in need with community jobs and vital skills that are needed in the current workplace.

The Winter Night Shelter provides a warm, safe space to stay overnight, it provides home cooked food, a listening ear, a safe space to stay and professional support. We are proud to have funded an evening at The Winter Night Shelter and are thrilled that we are able to support our community in this way, this project has so far provided over 3000 bedspaces over the harsh winter months and housed hundreds of people since its inception in 2024.
